RPT ATHLETE DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM


We take young athletes to the next level by helping them develop the fundamental movement skills that are required in their chosen sport.

We help young athletes develop the many movement skills that will allow them to succeed improving the level of performance in the sport and reducing their risk of injury.

This 360 degree program is designed to address many issues that are missed or not focused on in sport-specific training - things such as range of motion, biomechanical assessments, agility and mental training. We also focus on the importance of recovery techniques as a strategy for injury prevention and collaborate with healthcare leaders to provide a holistic training regimen.

Our main goal is to not only to push athletic boundaries but to also build confidence and increase engagement in all sports for the rest of their lives.

THE 4 KEY COMPONENTS TO OUR PROGRAM ARE:

Athleticism

Each day will consist of two sport specific training periods as well as a plyometric period that will develop overall power, speed and agility.

Durability

Exercises will be performed daily to strengthen muscles that aid in joint stability. This will be done through balance exercises, bosu ball work, as well as focused isometric contractions. Athletes will also learn how to condition and prep muscles to recover quicker from workouts.

Conditioning

Exercises will be performed at peak intensity throughout each period. Athletes will learn to understand the difference between simply working harder and working smarter. Prescriptive exercises and load demands will work in conjunction with the energy systems and systematic growth of the human body.

Mental Training

There will be a daily focus on mental training and preparation. Methods that will be covered include: mental rehearsal, visualization, gratitude awareness, and an intro into emotional intelligence. Each day there will be a marked focus on creating positive habits that will create healthy minds.
