Eric Rodgers is the Founder and a Leading Performance Enhancement Specialist at Rodgers Performance Training. He is passionate about developing young athletes’ mental and athletic potential. Eric specializes in sport specific training and physical conditioning fostering the development of elite athletes. His training process focuses on efficient movement patterns, mechanics, and creating sustainable, adaptable athletes (“Training Movement Over Muscle”). A number of athletes that Eric has coached have gone on to play at both the Collegiate and National (CFL) level.
Prior to launching Rodgers Performance Training, Eric played football for the University of Guelph. It was in Guelph where Eric was trained by performance specialist Chris Munford (California Sports Institute).
Eric built his foundation of knowledge at the University of Guelph, where he holds an Honours Degree in Human Kinetics. Eric also has his Bachelor of Education at the University of Western Ontario. Currently, Eric is coaching football and soccer at Parkside Collegiate Institute, hockey in the Panthers organization and soccer in the St. Thomas Soccer Club. He lives in St. Thomas with his beautiful wife, Simone and his lovely 2 children, Isabel and Caroline.
